IF Lödde was expected to win easily against FC Trelleborg, but it turned out to be a tough match for the home team. Andreas Ruggieri opened the scoring for IF Lödde just eight minutes into the match. Simon Ingheden extended the lead in the 37th minute, and IF Lödde had a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime.

However, FC Trelleborg did not give up and instead chose to improve their game. Joel Svendsen scored a quick goal for FC Trelleborg just two minutes into the second half. Soon after, he would also score his second goal of the evening, equalizing to 2-2.
