On Saturday afternoon, at Lomma IP A-plan, artificial grass, GIF Nike faced FC Trelleborg in an exciting Division 3 Södra Götaland match. Even though there was no audience present, the match turned into a true football celebration!
GIF Nike started strong and had several sharp attacks, but FC Trelleborg's goalkeeper kept a clean sheet. Instead, it was FC Trelleborg who took the lead in the 17th minute with a nice finish from Kevin Harletun. However, GIF Nike persevered and managed to equalize in the 49th minute through Metin Nerway.
But FC Trelleborg was not to be discouraged. In the 61st minute, it was again Kevin Harletun who showcased his talent and scored his second goal of the day, giving FC Trelleborg the lead once more. GIF Nike responded with several attacks, but FC Trelleborg's defense held strong.
In the 84th minute, Kevin Harletun truly exhibited his talent and scored his third goal of the match, completing a hat trick. FC Trelleborg had found their momentum and maintained their lead for the rest of the match, resulting in a final score of 1-3 in favor of FC Trelleborg.
Referee Niklas Andersson maintained a good standard throughout the match, and the assistant referees Simon Petersson and Tarik Kazic also performed well. It was a very well-played match that was entertaining for the spectators and also for those who followed the game from the comfort of their sofas!
