It was a cool but beautiful summer evening when Selånger FK faced Hille IF at Selånger IP in front of a crowd of 55 people. Referee Arian Chalak was in charge, assisted by linesmen Jan Boström and Linus Berg.
It was the visiting Hille IF who took command right from the start, and in the 7th minute, the first goal came courtesy of Anders Sundberg. The team continued to press, and in the 24th minute, they extended their lead to 2-0 through Mattias Priolo.
Selånger FK tried to get back into the match but struggled to threaten the visitors' defense. Instead, Stefan Näslund received a yellow card in the 30th minute.
Before halftime, Anders Sundberg scored his second goal, increasing Hille IF's lead to 3-0. He also received a yellow card in the 43rd minute.
In the 57th minute, Sundberg caught the referee's eye again for a tough tackle and was subsequently sent off, putting pressure on Hille IF. Selånger FK attempted to take advantage of their numerical superiority and made a substitution, bringing in Jonas Södermark for Jakob Berggren.
In the 68th minute, Hille IF still managed to extend their lead to 4-0 through Marcus Wike, who came on as a substitute for Joakim Nilsson-Bustamante. However, Selånger FK responded quickly and reduced the deficit with a goal from Christoffer Brännström in the 79th minute.
Despite an effort to rally from Selånger FK, there was no further comeback, and instead, team captain Petter Henriksson received a yellow card in the 87th minute, followed by Johan Dimeus in the closing minutes.
Hille IF held on and ultimately won the match 4-1. A heavy defeat for Selånger FK, who will now look forward to their next match to seek revenge.
