The match between Sund IF and Sjötulls BK at Malands IP was a truly eventful affair that ended in a dramatic 4-4 draw.
Just four minutes in, Sjötulls BK took the lead through a penalty kick expertly converted by Wallace da Silva. Unfortunately for Sund IF, things got even worse when Mikael Edström was sent off just a few minutes later. Sjötulls took advantage of their numerical superiority and doubled their lead through Nermin Celjo in the eighth minute.
Sund IF fought back into the match when Patrik Witkowsky reduced the deficit to 1-2 just before halftime, but Sjötulls BK quickly responded with Valentino Moradi, who extended their lead to 1-3.
After an eventful first half filled with several bookings and red cards, the goals continued to flow in the second half. Salar Alessandro Ali scored to make it 1-4 for Sjötulls, but Sund IF would not give up, and Niclas Persson Björck and Per Nyman reduced the score to 3-4.
The drama continued as Sund IF managed to equalize to 4-4 through Patrik Henriksson, who scored a penalty in the 81st minute. Despite several attempts in stoppage time, neither team was able to secure the win, and thus the tumultuous match ended in a draw.
The audience at Malands IP was treated to an entertaining match with plenty of goals and controversies, and both teams had to settle for a point each in Division 3 Södra Norrland.
