Trönö IK secured an important away victory against Sund IF on Saturday afternoon at Malands IP. Despite Sund IF taking the lead as early as the third minute through Niklas Ryman, it was Trönö IK that showcased strong play and managed to turn the match in their favor.
In the 16th minute, Michael Ankarmark made his entrance for Sund IF, but it was Trönö IK that showed effective gameplay and equalized through Magnus Wallgren in the 32nd minute. Just five minutes into the second half, Thomas Wallgren gave Trönö the lead with 2-1, before Yankuba Ceesay extended it to 3-1 after 57 minutes of play.
Sund IF fought to get back into the match, and Per Nyman was able to reduce the score to 3-2 in the 71st minute, but despite a strong finish from the home team, they were unable to catch up. The match ended 3-2 in favor of Trönö IK, who thus took three important points in the battle to avoid relegation.
After the match, Sund IF remains in eighth place in the table, while Trönö IK climbs a few spots but is still second to last. Referee Mathias Eneberg had full control of the match and maintained a good atmosphere on the field. With an attendance of 160 people, the teams could feel the support from the stands throughout the match.
