On a sunny Saturday afternoon at Kopparvallen, Korsnäs IF FK faced IFK Timrå in an exciting match in Division 3 Södra Norrland for men. Although no spectators were present on-site, it was an intense match with plenty of struggle and excitement.
Already in the sixth minute, Korsnäs made their first substitution when Fredrik Andersson came on for Mikael Lindenmo. In the 43rd minute, Norin received his second yellow card and was sent off. With one player down, IFK Timrå continued to fight, and in the 76th minute, Nicklas Mattsson equalized to make it 1-1.
With only six minutes left of regular time, Joakim Edström scored a goal, giving IFK Timrå a 2-1 lead. Despite Korsnäs trying to come back and push for an equalizer, IFK Timrå held firm and secured three points. The match concluded with a warning issued to Israel Kalenga of IFK Timrå.
When referee Joakim Östling blew the final whistle, it was clear that IFK Timrå had won 2-1 against Korsnäs IF FK. It was a well-played match with a lot of fighting spirit from both teams.
