On a sunny Saturday afternoon, Rengsjö SK and IFK Sundsvall faced off at Rengsjö IP in front of an empty stand. Referee Henrik Matsson blew the whistle to start the match, and it didn't take long before the home team took the lead. In the 17th minute, Erik Wästman struck and made it 1-0 for Rengsjö SK.
Just three minutes later, Wästman increased his tally and scored 2-0 for the home team. However, IFK Sundsvall showed that they were not out of the game yet, reducing the score through Tim Colldén in the 33rd minute.
After an intense first half, where several players received yellow cards, it looked like IFK Sundsvall might catch up. But in the 41st minute, Nicklas Bengtsson was sent off after receiving his second yellow card.
