On Friday evening, Söderhamns FF and Hille IF faced off in Division 3 Södra Norrland in a truly spectacular match at Helsingehus Arena. The referee, Jonas Hägglund, kicked off the match at 7:30 PM in front of 111 spectators who had eagerly gathered in the stands.
The match started with the first warning given to Hille's Daniel Skareng after 24 minutes of play. In the 25th minute, Hille decided to make their first substitution of the evening, with Marcus Melbi replacing Hermon Negassi Rusom. The second half began intensely, with several cautions handed out to both teams. First, Söderhamn's Daniel Lundström was cautioned in the 58th minute, followed by Adam Jonsson in the 68th minute. Söderhamn then raised the intensity of the match and managed to score a goal in the 70th minute through Johan Edberg, which looked to be the only and decisive goal of the match. Hille chose to make two substitutions after the goal, with Martin Linder replacing Henrik Mauritzon and Erik Mäki coming on for William Sandin.
Söderhamn then decided to make two substitutions as well, with Tomas Zetterström replacing Adam Jonsson and Abdulaziz Mahammed coming on for Adam Chabchoub.
