Fagersta Södra IK hosted Forssa BK at Fagerliden in an exciting match in Division 3 Södra Norrland. The attendance was noticeably low, but the teams still provided entertainment for everyone who followed the match either in person or via stream.
Forssa BK started the match strongly and took the lead just 9 minutes in when Daniel Ernström found the net behind Fagersta Södra IK’s goalkeeper. However, the home team was not satisfied with an early setback and intensely tried to come back.
After 19 minutes, Adam Tumma was substituted off for Fagersta, and Mehdi Hosaini came in to strengthen the midfield. This decision would prove to be a good one, as Fagersta gained more control of the game. It wasn’t long before it led to an equalizer by Max Holmberg in the 33rd minute.
But Forssa BK was not content with a 1-1 draw and pressed forward. In the 40th minute, Vassillios Andreadis Panagiotidis found the net with a fine strike that hit the post, giving the visitors the lead again.
The second half continued in the same vein, and Fagersta desperately sought an equalizer. The team brought on Hadi Hosaini and later Shafick Irarema, but it wasn’t until the 85th minute that Daniel Johansson headed in the ball to equalize for Fagersta.
However, the joy was short-lived as Forssa BK scored again making it 3-2 in the first minute of stoppage time through Vassillios Andreadis Panagiotidis. Fagersta desperately tried to find one last equalizer, but Forssa held on and took home three points.
Referee Rani Amir had a relatively calm match but issued a yellow card to Daniel Ernström in the 69th minute. Assistant referees Sajad Al-Hakim and Jesper Löf also monitored the situations along the sidelines.
The final score was thus 2-3 in favor of Forssa BK. Both teams fought hard and delivered an exciting match, but it was Forssa who kept their cool at the end and secured the victory.
