Match report:
It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at Årsunda IP when Årsunda IF hosted Sala FF in Division 3 Southern Norrland. In front of approximately 80 spectators, the home team took the lead after just 14 minutes when Daniel Bernhardsson headed the ball in after a nice corner.
The second half started well for Årsunda IF as they scored two goals within five minutes, both by Emil Hodin. The home team continued to dominate the match, and five minutes later, Emil Sjöstrand increased the lead to 4-0.
Sala FF tried to substitute players to change the course of the match, but it was in vain. Instead, Årsunda IF scored yet another goal, with Elias Gärd netting it in the 68th minute.
After this, Årsunda IF seemed to slow down the pace and brought in some fresh legs on the field. But towards the end of the match, Sala FF improved and managed to score a very important goal for their confidence, thanks to Ebrahim Tajik in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, it came too late for any attempt at a comeback, as Emil Hodin scored his third goal of the day just a few minutes before the final whistle.
The match ended with a score of 6-1 in favor of Årsunda IF after a strong performance, especially from Emil Hodin who achieved a hat trick. Årsunda IF thereby solidifies their position in the middle of the table, while Sala FF must continue to fight to avoid relegation.
