Forssa BK and Årsunda IF were ready to meet on the artificial turf at Sportfältet in front of an empty stand on Sunday afternoon. After a balanced start to the match, it was Forssa BK who received the first warning, following a tackle by Alexander Ernström in the 19th minute. In the 35th minute, Ibat Younis received a caution for the home team.
In the 36th minute, Ayub Mohamed gave Forssa the lead with a well-placed shot that went in behind Årsunda IF's goalkeeper. The home team continued to fight, and after 49 minutes, Abdelrahman Amer received a warning. However, this did not stop Forssa BK from continuing to dominate the match. In the 53rd minute, Ibat Younis increased Forssa's lead to 2-0 following a nice pass.
Årsunda IF tried to get back into the match but struggled to find the target. In the 67th minute, Forssa BK made a substitution, with Ibrahim Hamad replacing Ibat Younis. Årsunda IF responded with two substitutions in the 75th minute, when Kim Klasson came on for Emil Nordström and Smajo Hadzibajramovic replaced Rami El-Jazzar for the home team. Forssa BK also substituted Rinwar Othman for Karl Henniger in the 75th minute.
After 78 minutes, Abdelrahman Amer raised Forssa's lead to 3-0 with a well-placed shot. Årsunda IF attempted to come back but had difficulty creating dangerous scoring opportunities. In the 81st minute, Hugo Eriksson was substituted for Sixten Gärd for the away team. Felix Högberg came on for Yousef El-Jazzar and Alex Edberg replaced Ayub Mohamed for the home team in the 84th minute.
At the end of the match, Årsunda IF tried to catch up, but it was too late. Elias Gärd received a warning in the 90+3rd minute, but it had no impact on the match. Forssa BK won 3-0, meaning both teams finished the season in their respective positions in the standings. A solid and well-played match by Forssa BK, who surely were pleased to end the season on a high note in front of their fans.
