A dramatic match at Dala Järna IP A ended with a narrow victory for Årsunda IF. It was the visitors who took the lead after just ten minutes of play when Isac Lindholm found the net. However, Dala-Järna IK quickly rallied and equalized through Joakim Andersson before Fredrik Sixtensson put the home team ahead with a score of 2-1.
But Årsunda IF would not give up, and Isac Lindholm leveled the score again for the away team in the 41st minute, reclaiming an earlier lost lead. Before halftime, Kim Klasson also received a yellow card for Årsunda IF.
At halftime, Årsunda IF made a substitution, with Thure Ridderström replacing Kim Klasson on the field. But it was the home team who took the lead again just six minutes into the second half when Fredrik Sixtensson scored his second goal of the day.
However, the visitors still had more to give, and Noah Sjöstrand turned the match on its head with two goals in two minutes, putting Årsunda IF ahead with a score of 4-3. Dala-Järna IK brought on Oskar Bergsman to try to create a change, but Årsunda IF held on.
The visitors made two additional substitutions, and when Liam Riskula scored Årsunda IF’s fifth goal in the 85th minute, it seemed hopeless for the home team. But Wilhelm Gustafsson managed to convert a penalty with just one minute remaining in regular time, reigniting the suspense. Unfortunately for Dala-Järna IK, it was not enough to secure more goals, and they remain at the bottom of the table while Årsunda IF solidifies their fourth place.
