Segeltorps IF started the match strong and took the lead just one minute in with a goal from Joakim Kupari. IFK Eskilstuna tried to get back into the match, but Segeltorp's defense held firm, and instead, they extended their lead in the 22nd minute through Jacob Borssén, making the score 0-2.

However, IFK Eskilstuna began to battle their way back, and in the 42nd minute, they reduced the deficit with a goal from Alexander Larsson, which gave the team new energy going into the second half.

In the second half, both teams continued to try to create scoring opportunities, and it was then that IFK Eskilstuna managed to equalize through Sebastian Kantolic Nygårds in the 76th minute. But Segeltorp did not give up, and in the 86th minute, they scored their third goal, this time through Mattias Elséus.
