The match started intensely with Älta IF quickly taking the lead through Johan Carlsson and Youssef Riahi in the sixth and eighth minutes. Srbija FF tried to get back into the game with an early substitution, bringing in Darko Milutinovic for Alexandros Kousis.

Älta continued to dominate the match and extended their lead through Birhan Akdag in the 24th minute. However, Srbija managed to reduce the deficit just before halftime with a goal from Youcef Hendel.

The second half began similarly to the first, with Älta quickly increasing their lead through Youssef Riahi. Srbija continued to fight and managed to score another goal through Ertan Dazdarevic in the 61st minute.

Älta quickly responded with a goal from Ture Bodström in the 71st minute. Despite Srbija scoring yet another goal through Filip Brkic in the 87th minute, it was not enough to get back into the match.

The match ended controversially with a red card for Zlatan Alajbegovic from Srbija FF in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Älta IF ultimately won 5-3 and took home three points from Mälarhöjdens IP.
