Älta IF hosted IK Viljan Strängnäs at home in front of a crowd of about 40 people. The match started strong for Älta, who took the lead just 20 minutes in through an own goal by IK Viljan. Only two minutes later, Philip Ringbom increased the lead to 2-0.

IK Viljan tried to come back into the game and reduced the deficit to 2-1 with a goal from Antonius Bobel Acar in the 56th minute. But Älta quickly responded, extending their lead again to 3-1 through Jimmy Johansson.

Shortly after, Rickard Johansson scored for IK Viljan Strängnäs, making it 3-2, which put pressure on Älta. Despite an intense finish to the match, Älta managed to hold on and secure the victory.

The match featured several warnings, and towards the end, Älta also received a red card when Jeff Nilsson got his second yellow. Nevertheless, they held firm and secured three important points in their quest to climb the table. It was a dramatic finish to an exciting match at Älta IP 1.
