Spårvägens FF secured a much-needed victory when they faced Älta IF at Skarpnäcks SF 3 in a Division 3 Södra Svealand match. On a suitably mild Friday evening, only 60 fans gathered to watch the game. The referee Alexander Öhnedal, along with assistant referees Monika Perunicic Joksic and Emanuel Tas, officiated the match.
Spårvägens FF, sitting in 10th place in the table this evening, kicked off the match with high energy and hopes of winning - and they succeeded. In the 41st minute, the team scored their first goal through Melvin Sackey-Mensah, which prompted them to continue pressing Älta IF, who are in 4th place in the table. After this goal, not much happened, apart from Oskar Wickman receiving a yellow card for his team in the 44th minute.
After the halftime break, Spårvägens FF shocked once again, as Abwe Masimango scored a header in the 66th minute, forcing Älta IF to try to catch up. Their attempts only led to player substitutions, as Mattias Elséus was brought on for Jonathan Larsson in the 70th minute. Kasper Kajermo was also substituted for Mathias Mellqvist in the same minute. Henrik Larsson came on for Philip Ringbom in the 83rd minute.
Believe it or not, it was not until the 87th minute that Spårvägens FF received their first yellow card, issued to Aus Al Maliki. Erik Håkansson also received a yellow card in the 90th minute, just before Robin Fransson scored in the 91st minute. This goal gave them an even bigger lead, leading to Jabir Abdihakim Ali coming on for Aus Al Maliki. The final score was 3-0 in favor of Spårvägens FF, marking a highly sought-after victory for the team.
