In an exciting match at Farsta IP 1, where 42 spectators had gathered to support their teams, it was FOC Farsta that took control from the very beginning. Already in the 11th minute, Mehdi Hachemaoui scored the first goal for the home team, opening the scoring.
Ekerö IK struggled to get into the match, and FOC Farsta capitalized on that to their advantage. In the 19th minute, Prince Masiabe Mperi Mpuku extended the lead to 2-0, and it seemed like it was going to be a comfortable victory for the home team.
However, just before halftime, Ekerö IK managed to reduce the deficit through Samuel Mårdh, thereby creating new hopes for the second half. Nevertheless, FOC Farsta quickly extinguished those hopes as Paris Assouchidis made it 3-1 shortly after the break.
After that, not much happened on the pitch, apart from a few substitutions and warnings for both sides. The match ended 3-1 in favor of FOC Farsta, which meant they could continue climbing the table while Ekerö IK faced a tough night to make up for later. Referee Rikard Aspegren had a relatively calm evening considering the number of cards and the players' fair play.
An important victory for FOC Farsta and a disappointment for Ekerö IK, who need to find a way to earn points to climb the table in Division 3 Södra Svealand.
