Hargs BK won the away match against Värmdö IF 2-0 in Division 3 Södra Svealand. The match was played at Värmdövallen 1 in front of a crowd of 82 people. The referee for the day was Jonathan Varli, assisted by Jean-Pierre Maximurad and Manar Jalka.
Right from the start of the match, Värmdö IF showed that they were ready for a physical game, and Gustaf Lindberg received an early warning in the second minute. Unfortunately, it would soon be Hargs BK's turn to celebrate.
In the 13th minute, Victor Rinkefjord struck for the away team, making it 1-0. It was a classic counterattack goal where Värmdö IF's defense became far too passive, allowing Rinkefjord to advance unchallenged towards the goal and finish securely.
The match continued to be tough and physical, and in the 38th minute, Ismail Okur received a warning for Värmdö IF following a hard tackle. The team from Värmdö tried to work their way back into the game, and at halftime, they made two substitutions. Pablo Andrés Sepúlveda Bravo came on for Ville Kerttula, and Värmdö IF hoped for an offensive boost.
However, it was Hargs BK who continued to dominate. They too made a substitution at halftime, with Alexander Jansson replacing Foday Fofana. Värmdö IF fought hard and made several changes throughout the match. In the 59th minute, Knut Andersson came on for Joakim Eriksson, and in the 63rd minute, Conrad Halling Ibo was given a chance instead of Alvin Björck.
Goals were absent for Värmdö IF, and instead, Hargs BK delivered the knockout in the 77th minute. Alexander Jansson made it 2-0, taking the match out of Värmdö IF's hands.
Despite continued attempts to get back into the game, nothing worked for Värmdö IF. In the 84th minute, they made their last substitution when Gustav Häggbom came on for Oscar Olsson, but it had no effect.
The match ended on a sour note for Värmdö IF when Maximilian Llobera Janglin received a warning in the 90th minute. Mauricio Funes Zaldivar of Hargs BK also committed a foul in stoppage time, and thus the match was over.
Hargs BK could celebrate a well-deserved 2-0 victory, while Värmdö IF had to head home with their heads held low. It will be a tough task for Värmdö IF to bounce back after this loss, but it is certain that a motivated team will do everything to turn the trend around in their next match.
