It was a hard and aggressive encounter between Eskilstuna City FK and Västerhaninge IF at Tunavallen in front of an audience of 95 people. Västerhaninge started strong and put immediate pressure on the home team. Charles Simba scored the first goal after just five minutes, and then Heradi Simba doubled the lead to 2-0 a quarter of an hour in with a header. Eskilstuna faced even tougher conditions when Albin Malm was sent off after 25 minutes.

Eskilstuna's coach decided to substitute Muhammad Monieer Jabar Jabar for Alexander Cleverdal after the red card, but this did not stop Västerhaninge from continuing to dominate. Love Lanneborn scored the third goal for the guests in the 27th minute.

Slowly but surely, the home team began to find their footing in the match, and Filip Baters was cautioned after 38 minutes. Antonius Bobel Acar came on for Andy Imoh to give Eskilstuna an offensive boost, and they were rewarded when Antonius headed in their first goal in the 56th minute. Västerhaninge responded by substituting Lukas Andersson Engblom for Andrée Hodge Karlsson.

Eskilstuna's pressure paid off when Antonius scored his second and third goals in just five minutes, leveling the score at 3-3. Västerhaninge had to substitute Abdurrahman Okur for Szymon Deja in an attempt to salvage the match, but it did not change the situation.

Andrée Hodge Karlsson received a red card after 82 minutes, making it more difficult for Västerhaninge to hold on. Richie Danquah headed in a goal for Eskilstuna in the 84th minute, and Leroy Hlabi scored the fifth goal for the home team just two minutes later. Chia Ahmadi Fatahi was cautioned in the 90th minute, but that did not stop Eskilstuna from securing a decisive victory with a score of 5-3.
