It was an exciting Saturday afternoon at Vasavallen A when IK Viljan Strängnäs faced Eskilstuna FC in a match in Division 3 Södra Svealand, men. In the first half, the teams were quite evenly matched, but it was Eskilstuna FC that managed to take the lead in the last minute before halftime. Kebba Jatta scored the goal that put them ahead 1-0.
Eskilstuna started strong in the second half and immediately extended their lead with a goal from Cedrik Freado Danha. However, Viljan did not give up and fought until the end, even though they had to substitute two players due to injuries.
With three minutes left to play, Lukas Johansson saw his chance and managed to score a reduction to 1-2. But despite the hope, it was too late for Viljan to come back. When the referee blew the final whistle, Eskilstuna FC emerged victorious with a score of 2-1.
The audience at least got to see an exciting finish to the match, and both teams delivered entertaining football. We look forward to more matches between these two teams in the future.
