Hanvikens SK faced Saltsjö-Boo IF in a division 3 match at Trollbäcken IP 1. In front of a small crowd of 40 people, it appeared to be a tight match with two teams positioned in the middle of the table.
The match kicked off at 14:00, and just 13 minutes in, Hanvikens' Victoria Simone Daniel Strauss scored the opening goal, making it 1-0. But Saltsjö-Boo responded immediately, equalizing to 1-1 through Natascha Håkansson Thörnestad with a nice through ball. After only 20 minutes, Strauss ensured Hanvikens regained the lead as she scored her second goal of the day.
A few minutes before halftime, Tova Rydell caught up and equalized for the second time in the match, making it 2-2.
In the second half, however, there was only one team in action, and that was the home team, Hanvikens SK. Nicole Tabari scored to make it 3-2 in the 54th minute, before Lisa Ebbvik Ivars added two goals in the 72nd and 87th minutes. Julia Salander from Hanvikens received a warning in the 79th minute. But it didn’t help Saltsjö-Boo IF, who ultimately lost 6-2 after Strauss scored her third and hat trick goal in the closing stages of the match.
A well-deserved victory for Hanvikens, who played impressively offensive football and took over second place in the table. Saltsjö-Boo IF, on the other hand, needs to work on their defense to earn more points. Referee Ninos Nikola, along with assistants Yousif Basil Jollow and Viliam Pavlakovic, performed well and kept control of the match throughout.
