On a sunny Saturday afternoon, Oskarshamn AIK faced league leaders Saxemara IF at Arena Oskarshamn. In front of an audience of 209, the match began with hard play from both teams. However, Oskarshamn AIK received the first warning after 26 minutes when Isaac Blixt was booked.
The first goal came after 36 minutes when Peiman Eliassi scored to make it 1-0 for Oskarshamn AIK. But Saxemara IF would soon get their revenge when Moustafa Merzi equalized to 1-1 just three minutes later. Oskarshamn AIK, however, would not take this lying down, and Eliassi scored his second goal of the day, making it 2-1 for the home team just before halftime.
In the second half, Oskarshamn AIK continued to dominate, and Johannes Lagesson extended the lead to 3-1 after 67 minutes. Just five minutes later, Eric Persson made it 4-1. It seemed like the match was over, but Saxemara IF would not give up. After scoring two quick goals in stoppage time, the first by Fatmir Peci and the second by the same player, the match ended 4-3 in favor of Oskarshamn AIK.
Despite the loss, Saxemara IF retains their league lead. Oskarshamn AIK, on the other hand, takes three much-needed points and climbs to sixth place in the table. The referee for the match was Jonas Ottosson, with assistance from Robin Sörensson and Gheorghe Piscoran.
