The match started evenly, and it wasn't until the 23rd minute that the first caution was issued to Lyckeby GoIF's Marcus Fransson. However, it was Lyckeby GoIF who took the lead in the match when Lavdim Berbatovci found the net in the 28th minute.

Nosaby IF responded quickly, with Jonathan Cederholm equalizing in the 34th minute. Before halftime, Martin Tsilfidis also managed to give the home team the lead, which they held until the break.
