On Saturday afternoon, Höörs IS faced Bergkvara AIF at Färs & Frosta Arena in front of an empty stand. Referee Nehat Maxhuni took to the field alongside assistant referees Per-Ola Persson and Ola Flink to officiate the match.
Already in the third minute, Höörs IS struck first, with Linus Edvinsson opening the scoring. Just six minutes later, Joakim Karlsson extended the lead to 2-0. Jens Sloth made it 3-0 in the nineteenth minute, and Linus Edvinsson then scored two quick goals in the 27th and 35th minutes, completing his hat-trick. Don Magnusson made it 6-0 just before the halftime whistle.
During the break, Bergkvara AIF opted to make a substitution, bringing in John Karlsson for Robert Karlsson. However, this did not help against the strong Höörs IS, who continued to dominate. Don Magnusson scored his second goal of the match in the 48th minute, and Mattias Andersson converted a penalty to increase the lead to 8-0 in the 63rd minute.
Hannes Löfquist was substituted into Bergkvara AIF in the 68th minute, but even then, Höörs IS kept pushing forward. Jetmir Rama came on for Linus Edvinsson in the 71st minute and scored his goal in the 76th minute. Besir Aliti and Astrit Azemi also got the chance to showcase their skills on the field with substitutions in the 80th and 85th minutes.
Don Magnusson completed his hat-trick in the 88th minute, sealing the deal and resulting in a convincing victory for Höörs IS with a score of 10-0. It was a dominant performance from the home team that Bergkvara AIF struggled to match throughout the match.
