Match Report:
In a much-anticipated clash between Saxemara IF and Räppe GOIF at Hejan 1, it was the home team that took the lead early in the match. Already in the 5th minute, Johan Leopold struck and made it 1-0 for Saxemara. Räppe tried to get back into the game but not without receiving a few yellow cards. Eric Hörnell received two yellow cards in quick succession and was sent off in the 55th minute.
Saxemara took advantage of their numerical superiority and increased their lead to 2-0 in the 79th minute through Adnan Spahija. Then Morgan Vesterlund stepped up to score both 3-0 and 4-1, the latter from a penalty, for Saxemara. Räppe managed to get a consolation goal from Alfons Keymer, but it was not enough to threaten Saxemara's lead.
When the referee blew the final whistle, it was clear that Saxemara IF had won 4-1 and retained their second place in the standings, while Räppe GOIF remained near the bottom. It was a well-played match in front of an audience of 179 spectators, where Saxemara showcased their quality and secured three points at home.
