Sölvesborg's GoIF immediately showed which team would dominate the match when Denis Jahic scored the first goal of the day in the eighth minute. Saxemara IF tried to keep pace with the opposition but failed to prevent Robin Persson from netting Sölvesborg's second goal just five minutes later.

In the 42nd minute, Jesper Johansson drew a warning for Saxemara IF and it was 0-2 at halftime.

In the second half, Sölvesborgs continued to dominate and when Filip Tomas scored his goal in the 49th minute, the match was basically decided. Saxemara tried to fight for a reduction but failed to get through Sölvesborg's defence.

In the 87th minute, Christian Hansen scored the fourth and final goal for Sölvesborg's GoIF, who were thus able to leave the pitch with an impressive 4-0 win.
