Älmhults IF crushed Hovmantorp GoIF on their home ground on Sunday afternoon in division 3 Sydöstra Götaland. The match started with a quick lead for Älmhults IF, with an early goal from Martin Mårtensson in the fifth minute. Jimmy Ragnarsson from Hovmantorp GoIF received a warning after six minutes and Simon Svensson received a warning in the thirteenth minute.

In the thirty-fifth minute, Älmhults IF increased their lead with a goal from Kalle Johansson. A few minutes later, in the fortieth minute, it was André Lassen who further increased their lead with another goal. Pierre Rosberg scored the goal for Hovmantorp GoIF just after the half-time break and gave them some hope.

But Älmhults IF was ready to put an end to their attempt at a comeback. Andreas Ericsson of Hovmantorp GoIF scored his team's second goal, but it was too late to make much of a difference. Älmhults IF managed to replace several players during the second half and finally won with an impressive 6-2 victory.
