Högsby IK defeated Älmhults IF 2-0 in a very exciting match on Saturday afternoon at Arena Högsby Kommun 1, in front of an appreciated crowd of 232 spectators. Referee Johan Sandström oversaw the match, assisted by Lars Öst and Robin Wallén Nilsson.

The match began promisingly for the visiting team Älmhults IF, which created a few dangerous chances early in the game. However, it was the home team Högsby IK that took the lead in the 30th minute with a fine goal from David Petersson.

After the goal, much of the game was dominated by the visiting team Älmhults IF, which tried to get back into the match with several dangerous chances. But the home team remained solid and managed to neutralize all offensive attempts from the visitors.

Högsby IK extended their lead to 2-0 in the 71st minute when David Petersson scored once again. This was also Petersson's last action in the match, as he was substituted in the 77th minute together with Lucas Pettersson.
