It was a sunny Monday afternoon at Ädlavallen when VMA IK faced FK Älmeboda/Linneryd in Division 3 South-East Götaland. Despite there being no spectators present, it was an exciting match to be played.

Referee Erik Gren blew the whistle to start the match, and already in the 26th minute, FK Älmeboda/Linneryd received a warning when Jonathan da Silva picked up a yellow card. Just one minute later, VMA IK took the lead through Calle Nilsson, who scored a penalty to make it 1-0. Nilsson was in fantastic form and increased the lead in the 28th minute with his second goal of the day.

Mikey Carlsson and Julian Grozdanovski didn't want to be outdone, each scoring a goal in the 34th and 35th minutes, which meant VMA IK went into halftime with an impressive 4-0 lead.

In the second half, FK Älmeboda/Linneryd managed to reduce the deficit through Haris Hamzic, but VMA IK quickly responded with Adam Winnberg, who made it 5-1 in the 68th minute. The goals continued to come for the home team, and in the end, it finished 7-1 to VMA IK after goals from Elliot Pramberg and Daniel Kardum.

The match concluded with a warning to FK Älmeboda/Linneryd's coach Muamer Makic, as well as a dismissal of their physiotherapist Magnus Fyhr in the 90th minute. VMA IK demonstrated their quality, securing a convincing victory that placed them at the top of the table, while FK Älmeboda/Linneryd found themselves defeated and remained in fourth place.
