On Saturday afternoon, Högsby IK faced FK Älmeboda/Linneryd at Sparbanksvallen 1 in a match in the men's Division 3 Southeast Götaland. Despite no spectators being present, the teams provided an entertaining match that Högsby ultimately won 2-0.

In the 60th minute, FK Älmeboda/Linneryd replaced Ilyas Ahmed Mahmud with Narek Gyozalyan in an attempt to boost their offensive efforts, but it didn't help. Instead, Högsby's Noah Ekberg scored the decisive goal in the 90th minute, sealing the final result at 2-0.
