It was an exciting match between Asarums IF FK and IFK Karlshamn on Sunday afternoon. In front of an empty stadium at Asarums IP 1 (A-plan), the teams battled for three points in Division 3 South-East Götaland for men.
In the thirteenth minute, the action began! The home team, Asarums IF FK, took the lead through William Ohnysson after a nice pass from one of his teammates. 1-0 to the home team, and the audience, unfortunately absent from the stands, celebrated in their living rooms.
IFK Karlshamn worked hard to equalize, but the home team held strong. In the middle of the second half, IFK Karlshamn made a substitution bringing Simon Bosnjak into play. This seemed to give a slight boost to the visitors' offense as they stepped up the pressure even further.
However, the home team were aware of what could happen. They made some substitutions in the seventieth minute when Alex Jönsson was brought in. IFK Karlshamn quickly responded with another substitution when Adam Åkerman entered the game in the 74th minute.
In the seventy-seventh minute, Asarums IF FK’s Axel Åkesson received a yellow card. IFK Karlshamn continued to push forward and chose to strengthen their offense further when Karl Lindqvist was substituted in the 81st minute instead of Alexander Wass.
But it didn’t help the guests, who failed to get the ball past the home team's goalkeeper. The home team made their last substitution in the eighty-eighth minute when Mattis Kumm-Persson came on for Melvin Elison.
