Sunday afternoon at Asarums IP 1 featured an exciting match between Asarums IF FK and IFK Oskarshamn. With an audience of 200 people and Zen Al-Hammadi as the referee, there was significant interest in the game.

The match kicked off with a goal from IFK Oskarshamn already in the 19th minute. It was Armend Mahmutaj who took a free kick and elegantly placed the ball behind the goalkeeper of Asarums IF FK, giving the team a 0-1 lead. However, Asarums IF FK responded quickly in the 35th minute when Melvin Elison scored and equalized to 1-1.

The second half was just as exciting as the first. In the 64th minute, IFK Oskarshamn made their first substitution as Seim Zekarias Teklemariam replaced Armend Mahmutaj. Asarums IF FK quickly followed suit and made their first substitution in the 73rd minute when Erduan Brahimi came on for Hugo Svensson. IFK Oskarshamn also made a player substitution in the same minute, with Nikita Chistyakov replacing Ayham Al Hasson.

Tension mounted on the field, and in the 76th minute, Mahdi Noori from IFK Oskarshamn received a warning, and just a few minutes later, Carl Savolainen also received a warning. Both Eric Persson and Johan Persson were cautioned during the match as well. Unfortunately for IFK Oskarshamn, Eric Persson's two yellow cards led to a red card in the 88th minute. IFK Oskarshamn's assistant coach Tommy Ödlund also received a warning in the 92nd minute.

The thrilling match was decided in the last minute of stoppage time. Asarums IF FK was awarded a penalty in the 87th minute, but Melvin Elison missed. However, in the 90th minute, David Gustavsson scored, giving Asarums IF FK a 2-1 lead. After 10 minutes of stoppage time, the referee blew the final whistle.

Asarums IF FK claimed the victory and solidified their position in the table at 8th place. IFK Oskarshamn, on the other hand, remained in 10th place in Division 3 Southeast Götaland, men’s category.
