IFK Fjärås hosted a very one-sided match against Eskilsminne IF at Ögärdets IP A. The 220 spectators in attendance looked forward to an exciting match in Division 3 South-West Götaland.
Referee Bartek Svaberg blew the whistle to start the match on Saturday afternoon, and already after 18 minutes, Eskilsminne IF received their first warning. Martin Nilsson from IFK Fjärås also picked up a warning just three minutes later.
After half an hour of play, IFK Fjärås faced an unexpected dismissal as Anton Hallengren received a red card. Shortly after this, Eskilsminne IF managed to score their first goal through Daniel Ander from a penalty. However, IFK Fjärås quickly responded with a penalty of their own, taken by Johan Gunnarsson, equalizing the score to 1-1.
But Eskilsminne IF was not satisfied with this result and quickly scored two more goals before the halftime break, through Matthias Lindgren Holenstein and Johan Isgren. The second half started similarly, with Eskilsminne IF pulling ahead with additional goals from Pierre Mattsson and once again Johan Isgren, this time scoring from a penalty.
IFK Fjärås made a few substitutions to try to turn the match around, but Eskilsminne IF continued to dominate, scoring two more goals through Matthias Lindgren Holenstein and the hat-trick hero Johan Isgren. The match ended 1-7 in favor of Eskilsminne IF, who showcased impressive play and took home three points.
