Eskilsminne IF emerged victorious in a tough match against Vinbergs IF with a score of 3-2 at Harlyckans IP 1 in Division 3 South-West Gothenburg.
The match kicked off on Saturday afternoon in front of a crowd of 214 spectators, and it was Eskilsminne IF who took the lead in the tenth minute through Daniel Björnberg. However, Vinbergs IF quickly equalized just seven minutes later with a goal from Joakim Winbladh.
In the 42nd minute, Eskilsminne IF’s Filip Egger received a warning, but the team didn’t lose focus and retook the lead in the 56th minute through Matthias Lindgren Holenstein. Filip Egger himself then extended the lead in the 68th minute.
Vinbergs IF attempted to make a comeback and made a substitution in the 85th minute with Christopher Lindqvist coming on for Kristoffer Kull. It was, however, Daniel Bengtsson who reduced the deficit for Vinbergs IF in the 87th minute. Despite a strong finish from Vinbergs IF, the team could not equalize, and the match ended 3-2 in favor of Eskilsminne IF.
Referee Jimmie Andersson had good control of the match, and assistant referees Bobby Sjögren-Engels and Andreas Dolk also maintained a good standard.
Eskilsminne IF could thus celebrate three points and a well-deserved victory in this tough match against Vinbergs IF.
