On a wonderful Friday evening at Stafsinge IP, the home team won a resounding 8-1 against Gislaveds IS in Division 3 South-Western Götaland. The match started well for Stafsinge IF, and already in the 14th minute, they took the lead through Emil Bengtsson. After that, they continued to dominate, and in the 34th minute, Marcus Mårtensson extended the lead to 2-0. Shortly after, Ali Alawia made it 3-0, and Jonas Cullsjö increased it to 4-0 before halftime.
In the second half, Stafsinge IF continued to be the better team, and Jesper Persson scored 5-0 in the 52nd minute. Gislaveds IS managed to pull one back in the 75th minute through Admir Dadic, but it didn’t help much as Stafsinge IF kept scoring. Sebastian Bengtsson made it 6-1, and in the 90th minute, it exploded. Andreas Jansson, Tobias Wetterlöv scored, and finally, Stafsinge IF made it 8-1 through Tobias Wetterlöv.
The crowd at Stafsinge IP was in ecstasy and celebrated the team after a dominant victory. Referee Andreas Hedström had good control of the match and kept an eye on the players, which resulted in a few cautions for both teams. A night to remember for all Stafsinge supporters, while Gislaveds IS will have to try to forget this heavy loss and look ahead to upcoming matches.
