An exciting match took place at Råslätts IP 1 in Jönköping as Råslätts SK hosted Stafsinge IF in Division 3 South-West Götaland for men on Saturday afternoon. Despite the absence of an audience, the teams delivered a tightly contested match that ended with a 4-3 victory for the home team.
The match began with a substitution for Råslätts SK, as Cristofer Contreras Hernandez replaced Aram Ibrahim. Just eight minutes in, the home team took the lead with a beautiful goal from Alex Wendmu. However, it didn’t take long for Stafsinge IF to equalize, with Torbjörn Johansson scoring in the 20th minute.
The match became physical, leading to multiple warnings from referee Barech Afzal Khan. First, Michael Ibrahim from Råslätts SK received a warning, then Mohamed Omeirat followed. For Stafsinge IF, Samuel Olsson and Henrik Rosvall both received warnings just before halftime.
Before the end of the first half, Wendmu scored his second goal of the day, reinstating Råslätts SK’s lead at 2-1.
The second half was just as intense as the first. Stafsinge IF brought on Aloand Alzahawi for Medion Kabashi in the 58th minute, and just two minutes later, the team scored their second goal through Mac Johansson, tying the game at 2-2.
But Råslätts SK wasn’t willing to give up, and in the 68th minute, Petrus Kocadag ensured his team regained the lead by scoring their third goal, making it 3-2.
Stafsinge IF substituted Felix Ekenstam for Rodit Turay in the 83rd minute, but despite several chances, they couldn’t find the net again. Instead, Råslätts SK scored their fourth goal through Jakob Strandsäter in the 88th minute.
Stafsinge IF refused to back down, and in the 90th minute, Johansson scored his second goal of the day, reducing the deficit to 4-3. However, it wasn’t enough, as Olsson from Stafsinge IF received his second warning and was sent off. Before the final whistle blew, both Johansson and Johansson received yellow cards.
It was a dramatic match where Råslätts SK ultimately won 4-3, earning three crucial points in the standings.
