It was an even match between Askims IK and Kungsbacka IF at Kobbegården 1 Artificial Turf on Monday afternoon. The attendance was zero, but that didn't stop the teams from delivering good football. Referee Tobias Nordström Östling, assisted by referees Fredrik Molldén and Erik Sjösten, had their hands full keeping an eye on the game.
The match began with Askims IK's Serdar Kaymaz receiving a warning after a hard tackle. However, it wasn't until the 62nd minute that we saw the first goal. It was Kungsbacka IF's Alen Veric who found the back of the net, giving the team a 1-0 lead.
Askims IK was not satisfied with the score and made two substitutions in the 67th minute. Hugo Gislén replaced Dennis Strandberg, and Mattias Fallmyr came in for Jaime Jansson Ramér. Jesper Fredriksson also substituted in for André Bomb.
Kungsbacka IF's Christopher Eriksson received a warning in the 81st minute, and just a few minutes later, the team replaced Haidar Bejan with Felix Olbing. However, in the 84th minute, Askims IK managed to equalize. It was the previously cautioned Serdar Kaymaz who scored the goal, and the match ended 1-1.
The match was not without its cautions. Mattias Fallmyr of Askims IK and Simon Lindfors and Markus Andersson of Kungsbacka IF each received a yellow card in the final minute of the game.
With that, the teams shared the points. Askims IK is now in 6th place in Division 3 Southwestern Gothenburg, while Kungsbacka IF is one place behind in 7th.
