Lerkils IF continues to dominate in Division 3 South-West Götaland, and there was no exception when the team faced Kågeröds BoIF at Teckomatorps IP on Saturday afternoon. The home crowd of 72 spectators saw the highest-ranked team take the lead after 15 minutes of play when Marcus Lindegren shot the ball into the net, making it 0-1 for Lerkil.

Although Kågeröds BoIF tried to keep pace during the rest of the half, it seemed that Lerkils IF had control of the match. There were, however, glimpses of resistance, as Casper Sääski received a warning for a clear foul after 31 minutes.

In the second half, Lerkils IF continued to push forward, and just seven minutes in, Sääski's situation worsened as he was sent off after another foul play. Lerkils IF took the opportunity and scored once more when Lindegren netted his second goal of the day.

With a 0-2 lead, Lerkils IF made two substitutions to maintain their advantage. Kågeröds BoIF pressed in the closing stages of the match, but Jesper Blickander received a warning, and Lerkils IF was able to fend off all attempts at a comeback from Kågeröds. The match ended 0-2 when referee Emil Persson blew the whistle. Lerkils IF remained at the top of the table, while Kågeröds BoIF still had everything to work on to avoid relegation.
