Lerkils IF and Stafsinge IF faced off at Ängås IP D in an exciting match in Division 3 South West Götaland for men. In front of 90 spectators on a Friday evening, both teams tried to secure the three important points.
The match began with Stafsinge IF getting the first goal. It was Jesper Bjäräng who scored with a fine shot, putting the ball in the net and giving Stafsinge IF a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute. However, just a few minutes later, in the eleventh minute, Lerkils IF equalized through Marcus Lindegren, making it 1-1. Shortly afterward, in the fifteenth minute, Lerkils IF took the lead with a goal from Magnus Larsson, who finished brilliantly to make it 2-1. Stafsinge IF received a warning in the twentieth minute when Hugo Thörnqvist interrupted the play with an unnecessary tackle.
In the first twenty minutes, Lerkils IF was awarded a penalty, and Tobias Johansson converted it into a goal. With a 3-1 lead, things looked promising for the home team, which also managed to score another goal just before halftime through Magnus Larsson.
In the second half, Stafsinge IF substituted Alexander Qvarfordh for Emanuel Haraldsson in the hope of making a comeback. The match ended in a convincing victory for Lerkils IF, who won 6-1 after a strong performance. Despite Stafsinge IF being in second place in the league table, it seemed that Lerkils IF had a plan and were well-prepared for the match. The referee, Jonas Erlandsson, also did a good job of keeping the match in check until the final whistle.
