The match started off tough, and just 11 minutes in, Markaryd's Alfons Andersson found himself on the warning list. Åsa took the lead after 23 minutes when an own goal surprisingly favored Åsa. However, Markaryd would not allow the visitors to hold the lead for long, as Ljiridon Bajgora equalized with a free-kick goal in the 30th minute, putting pressure on Åsa. Shortly thereafter, just before the halftime break, Bajgora scored again, giving Markaryd a 2-1 lead.

The second half began fantastically for the home team. Bajgora completed his hat trick with a goal in the 53rd minute, extending Markaryd's lead to a comfortable 3-1. Åsa attempted to make a comeback, but Markaryd held firm and managed to control the match. Åsa made three substitutions in hopes of turning the match around, but Markaryd maintained their grip and added a fourth goal in the 90th minute thanks to Bajgora, who scored this goal as well.

The match ended with a score of 4-1 in favor of Markaryd, securing an important victory and allowing them to climb in the table. Åsa leaves with a loss but takes lessons from the match. Assistant referees Dan Rosu and Victor Dancea did an excellent job alongside head referee Benit Ropica.
