Vejby IF tried to come back into the match, and Robin Häggström reduced the deficit to 3-1. Emil Persson then made it 3-2 in the final moments of the match, and suddenly it became tense.

Despite a strong finish from Vejby IF, the team was unable to equalize, and the match ended 3-2 in favor of Waggeryds IK. A crucial victory for the home team, who now take away three points from the encounter.
