IS Halmia started the match strongly and took the lead already in the third minute through Adrian Hallsö. Anderstorps IF struggled to get their game going, and IS Halmia doubled their lead with a goal from Jonatan Eriksson in the 19th minute.

In the 51st minute, Jonatan Eriksson again increased his goal tally, and Oskar Rantala Törnfeldt scored the fourth goal for IS Halmia just a few minutes later. There was then no doubt about which team would win the match, as Jonatan Eriksson completed his hat trick, and Oliver Hansson and Stefan Stojkovic also found the net for IS Halmia.
