Waggeryds IK enjoyed their home match against visiting Stafsinge IF in a Division 3 match for South-Western Götaland on Saturday afternoon. The match started hesitantly for both teams, but it was Waggeryds IK who took the lead after 27 minutes through scorer Christofer Frisenette-Fich.

Stafsinge IF struggled to withstand Waggeryds IK's attacking play, and it didn't take long before Linus Lyck doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 38th minute. Shortly after, Stafsinge IF's coach André Johansson received a warning from referee Justus Läsker.

Arjan Osmani reduced the deficit for the visitors just before halftime, making the score 2-1 in favor of Waggeryds IK. However, in the second half, there was no doubt about it - Waggeryds IK was the stronger team. Just four minutes into the second half, Linus Lyck once again increased the lead to 3-1.

Victor Ericsson of Stafsinge IF received a warning after 53 minutes, and it wasn't long before William Neth made the score 4-1. Linus Lyck, who was in excellent form at Vaggeryds IP, received a warning after 57 minutes.

Stafsinge IF tried to get back into the match by making three substitutions just before the hour mark. But it was Waggeryds IK's Lorik Beciri who made a good substitution when he replaced Jens Josefsson after 75 minutes. Stafsinge IF's Jacob Haraldsson received a warning in the 75th minute.

Waggeryds IK's Tim Björnberg was substituted for Sebastian Nilsson in the 80th minute, while Stafsinge IF substituted Albin Malmlöf Johansson for Mohamad Asad in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, both Antoni Brian Johansson and Leo Babic came on for Waggeryds IK, while Linus Lyck completed his hat trick with two penalty goals. Gustav Karlsson of Stafsinge IF received a warning after this, and Waggeryds IK proudly displayed a final score of 6-1 on the scoreboard when the match was called off.
