IF Böljan Falkenberg came back from behind to win in an exciting match against league leaders IS Halmia at Falkenbergs IP A on Friday evening. The match had limited attendance due to COVID-19 restrictions.

IF Böljan had a tough start as they were forced to make an early substitution due to an injury to John Nilsson. However, the substitute Elias Bengtsson could not prevent IF Böljan from receiving two yellow cards in the first half, awarded to Torbjörn Johansson and Serhat Akgun.

At the beginning of the second half, IF Böljan made two more substitutions in an attempt to take control of the match, but it was instead IS Halmia who took the lead through Oskar Rantala Törnfeldt in the 67th minute. However, IF Böljan did not give up, and just four minutes later, David Wallnedal equalized to 1-1 with a header.

It was then Torbjörn Johansson who ensured IF Böljan took the lead with his goal in the 76th minute. IS Halmia tried to push for an equalizer, but IF Böljan managed to hold on and secured three important points.
