Vinbergs IF won Sunday’s match against Höganäs BK away from home with a score of 2-0 after two goals from Ivar Andersson. Höganäs BK fought hard to overtake Vinbergs IF in the standings, but it was the away team that scored the only two goals of the match.

The match at Höganäs Sportcenter A-plan featured well-played passing and a high tempo from both teams. Vinbergs IF had the chance to take the lead after 40 minutes when Ivar Andersson scored with a header after a nice cross from the right side.

Höganäs BK had a chance to get back into the game when Vinbergs IF’s Ivar Andersson received a red card after a heated discussion with the referee in the 77th minute. However, despite the home team pushing hard in the final minutes, they could not find a way to score, and the match ended 2-0 in favor of Vinbergs IF.

After the defeat, Höganäs BK remains in 10th place in the standings while Vinbergs IF continues to climb, now sitting in 4th place. The referee for the day was David Weber, with Tobias Bergstrand and Adhurim Binaku as assistant referees. Unfortunately, the match was played without any spectators due to restrictions related to Covid-19.
