Fortuna FF secured a necessary victory in Division 3 Sydvästra Götaland as they defeated Höganäs BK 2-1 at home on Friday evening. The visiting Höganäs took the lead through Emil Åberg in the 24th minute, but Fortuna quickly responded with Niklas Nielsen equalizing in the 51st minute. Oskar Nilsson set the final score at 2-1 for Fortuna in the 69th minute.

The match had a controversial start when Höganäs BK scored the opening goal through Emil Åberg in the 24th minute. Fortuna's supporters claimed that Höganäs had committed a free kick in the buildup to the goal. However, referee Bobby Sjögren-Engels did not seem to agree and allowed the goal.
