It was a one-sided match at Åsa IP A when Åsa IF faced Höganäs BK in Division 3 South-West Götaland on Sunday afternoon. Despite there being no spectators present to watch the game, both teams delivered high intensity and fighting spirit.

The match started evenly with both teams creating chances going forward, but it was Åsa IF who struck first. In the 41st minute, Hampus Furublad made it 1-0 for Åsa after a nice assist from Anton Millesson Nilsson. Just two minutes later, Anton himself increased the lead to 2-0 with a fine finish.

Just before halftime, Åsa were awarded a penalty, and Jakob Sellhed confidently put it in the net, meaning Åsa led 3-0 when the referee blew for halftime.

The second half began with a consolation goal for Höganäs BK. Emil Åberg made it 3-1 in the 51st minute after a nice ball from Leo Subaric. However, Åsa did not allow Höganäs to gain any momentum and continued to play aggressively and offensively.

In the 62nd minute, Hampus Furublad scored his second goal of the day, extending Åsa’s lead to 4-1. Kebba Nyang continued to make life difficult for Höganäs by scoring 5-1 just six minutes later. Oskar Lindblom received a yellow card for a tough tackle in connection with the goal.

In the 72nd minute, Salifu Manneh scored his first goal of the day, increasing Åsa's lead to 6-1. Filip Petersson capped off the goal fest by scoring Åsa’s seventh goal in the 75th minute.

Both Åsa IF and Höganäs BK made several substitutions during the match, but there was no doubt as to which team was stronger today. When the referee blew the final whistle, the score was 7-1 in favor of Åsa, and the team climbed up to sixth place in the table. Höganäs remains second to last.
