It was a close start to the match between Gislaveds IS and Åsa IF at Ryttarvallen 1 in front of an audience of 230 spectators. However, Åsa IF took the lead in the third minute when Kebba Nyang was able to place the ball into the net. Gislaveds IS fought back and equalized after 30 minutes through Robert Dojcinovski.
But Åsa IF was not discouraged and regained the lead just two minutes later through Elias Dehlryd. Gislaveds IS then received two yellow cards in quick succession as Gustav Bogren and Anton Henningsson were shown a yellow card.
