It was a hot summer evening when Bälinge IF took on Upsala IF Soccer 2 at the Bälinge IP 2 home arena in front of an audience of 57 people. With referee Evangelos Malandrakis in charge, the match started with high intensity and both teams created chances in the first half. In the 21st minute, Upsala IF Fotboll 2 had a great opportunity and Linnéa Sokyazian took the opportunity and put the ball in for 0-1. After this, Bälinge IF lost the rhythm and Upsala IF Fotboll 2 took full advantage of this when Signe Egervärn increased the lead to 0-2 in the 32nd minute. In the second half, Bälinge IF showed greater commitment and offered a good fight. They looked to be in control of the game and eventually Agnes Björnström managed to reduce the score to 1-2 in the 72nd minute, much to the delight of the home crowd. But Upsala IF Fotboll 2 did not want to stop there and quickly countered through Måna Bertilsson Skog for 1-3 in the 77th minute. With time as their enemy, Bälinge IF tried to attack time and time again, but instead Carolina Sixtensson was able to score the last goal of the match in the 89th minute and set the final score at 1-4 in favor of Upsala IF Fotboll 2. Despite the loss, Bälinge IF was able to take get some positive things from the match and get something to build on for the upcoming matches in Division 3 Uppland, ladies. Upsala IF Fotboll 2, on the other hand, could celebrate a stable victory that means they remain at the top of the table.
