Alingsås KIK proved to be significantly superior in the match against Brämhults IK when the teams met at Bodavallen A artificial turf in Division 3 Västergötland South for women. The crowd was not great, with only 45 people present, but that did not stop Alingsås from completely dominating the match.
In the 8th minute, Natalia Shukair scored a header and gave Alingsås a 1-0 lead. After that, there was only one team on the pitch, and it was Alingsås that continued to press on. In the 12th minute, Rebecka Sultan created a good chance and put the ball in the net, marking her first of three goals in the match. Sultan was indeed a major contributor to Alingsås' high goal tally during the game.
After 17 minutes of play, it was Sultan again who struck and scored her second goal of the day. Brämhults IK seemed completely unable to stop Alingsås' advance, and in the 35th minute, the fourth goal came from Sanna Wirtberg. But it would get even worse for Brämhults, as Rebecka Sultan scored her third goal just five minutes later, making it 0-5 at halftime.
The second half began much like the first, with Alingsås continuing to create chances and press forward. Just six minutes into the half, Elin Larsson scored the sixth goal for Alingsås. Brämhults tried to fight for a consolation goal but did not succeed until stoppage time when Stina Steinarsdotter converted a free-kick from long range, scoring her team's only goal.
The match ended with a dominant 1-6 victory for Alingsås KIK, and there was no doubt about which team was better on the pitch this evening. Referee Mirsad Sela did a good job and kept the match under control. Alingsås played as a cohesive team, and Brämhults IK had no answer to their attacking play.
